The Genesis Cooperative was officially created June 20, 2010 with a Covenanting service at Cassburn United Church. Genesis came about as a result of consultation between the following Pastoral Charges: Cassburn, Hawkesbury, Kirk Hill, Riceville-Pendleton and Vankleek Hill. Led by Reverend Garth Mundle, these charges came up with this innovative way of providing ministry to the east end of the Seaway Valley Presbytery.

Pendleton United Church

Directions: Proceed north on County Road #9 toward Plantagenet and at County Road #2, turn left, following this road (westerly) through Curran. Look for County Road #19 which runs north to Wendover and South to Pendleton. Turn left (south) for 3 km into Pendleton and at four corners turn east.
Riceville United Church

Directions: At Exit 51 on Hwy, 417, proceed north on County Road #9, passing through St. Isidore de Prescott. Approximately 1 to 2 km north of the junction of County Rd. #9 and County Rd. #10 (which goes to Fournier),turn left off of County Rd. #9 at Franklin Corners cemetery. Riceville lies 2 to 3 km west of this turn off.
