Saturday, November 25  - The Women of Chalmers United Church, Finch, invite you to their annual Christmas Bazaar & Luncheon on from11:30am -1:00pmbeing held at the Finch Arena. Lunch menu consists of cold meats, salads, scalloped potatoes, baked beans & homemade pies. Cost is only $10 at the door. There will also be a bake table, a silent auction and Pansy’s Attic Treasures. Everyone welcome.

 

Sunday, December 03  - Rev Lois & the congregation of St. Andrew’s United Church, Martintown, invite you to an“Advent Eventide” –an evening of peaceful advent inspiration on Sunday, Dec 03 at7:00pm. The evening will feature harpistIan Hepburn,  soloistsPaddy Kelly and Lisa Zeran, fiddle music byThe Deve McPhee Fiddlersalong with seasonal music sung by the church choir accompanied byBill Ellam.  Freewill offering. Rideau Hill Camp is a Seaway Valley Presbytery sponsored Christian Camp run by an independent Council. It is open and available from May to September. During July and August, a series of boys'and girls camps are run with activities geared toward the various age groups which range from 6 to 16 years. The Camp is situated on the south bank of the Rideau River at 3560 Rideau River Road in the Township of North Grenville. Best approach is via exit 40 from Highway 416. Travel approximately 5 kilometres east and look for a laneway on the left through the cedars. The Camp is well sign-posted.
