Newington United Church Anniversary
The Newington United Church family will mark our 115th anniversary with a special evening service at 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 19. followed by a time of food and fellowship. There will be no morning service at Newington that Sunday. Everyone is weilcome to celebrate with us.
Ingleside Turkey Supper
Turkey Supper at Trinity United Church, Ingleside, Memorial Square at Maple Street, Sunday, September 26, 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Adults: $12. Children six to 12 years old: $6, Children under six years old: free! Enjoy lots of homestyle food and fellowship with folks from around the area.

The congregation of St. James united Church, Avonmore invite all to their  Harvest Turkey Supper (turkey with all the trimmings and homemade pies). The supper will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at North Stormont Place, Avonmore, from 4:30 - 7:00pm. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children 6-12 and free for children under 5 years of age.

Tickets are available at Barkley’s Store, Scotiabank Avonmore or by calling  Myrtle at 613-346-2211, Nancy at 613-346-5493 or Rev. Lois at 613-346-1648. Only 200 advance tickets available – everyone welcome.

Did you know?

Rideau Hill Camp is a Seaway Valley Presbytery sponsored Christian Camp run by an independent Council. It is open and available from May to September. During July and August, a series of boys'and girls camps are run with activities geared toward the various age groups which range from 6 to 16 years. The Camp is situated on the south bank of the Rideau River at 3560 Rideau River Road in the Township of North Grenville. Best approach is via exit 40 from Highway 16. Travel approximately 5 kilometres east and look for a laneway on the left through the cedars. The Camp is well sign-posted.
